A stunning contemporary styled drinks cabinet inspired from a study of ancient Egyptian art. The cabinet is made from sycamore and oak. The door pattern is made using a parquetry technique and comprises 320 individually cut pieces of oak and sycamore surrounded by rosewood inlay. This pattern echoes those seen in Egyptian hieroglyphs and artefacts. The contrasting woods give a three-dimensional effect to the door panels.
The cabinet stands 750mm above floor level on oak legs, which have a fluted detail to the outer faces. Internally, there are two adjustable glass shelves. The back panel houses a gold tinted mirror adding to the overall feeling of luxury.
