A brief glimpse of daylight as the mist and low clouds that have descended, thin and disperse for a few moments. Like thoughts or ideas that emerge but never quite come to fruition and evaporate within moments. Brief and barely formed.
Between Moments has multiple layers of translucent paint and worked over a long period of time. The painting began as a seascape of a rocky inlet or bay based on memories of visits to England’s southwest coastline. It was painted over a period of eighteen months, and completed in 2024.
