Born in Wertheim, Germany, she was raised in a picturesque village surrounded by lush hills and flowing rivers. Seeking to expand her artistic practice and broaden her perspective, she studied art in London, UK. As part of her education, she also lived in Los Angeles, New York, and Australia. Through her impressionist landscape paintings, her international experiences are truly brought to life. Using texture and abstraction, these works perfectly depict the lively movements and hues of a coastal sunset. This series stands in contrast to Husslein's more refined and smoother still-life floral paintings, which draw direct inspiration from the worlds of art history and flower photography.
