Join us for an inspiring day of creativity at Artifex Gallery, where you’ll be guided by the renowned artist David Johnson in painting your own stunning dynamic skyscape to take home. Surrounded by beautiful artworks in an art gallery space, you’ll have the perfect atmosphere to ignite your imagination and explore new artistic techniques.

What to Expect:

  • Exclusive Demonstrations with Plenty of One to One Tuition
    The workshop will be taught using a series of demonstrations and one to one tuition. David will guide you through a range of painting techniques and methods.
  • Study Light and Colour
    This workshop involves exploring the light, colours and marks that can be found in dynamic skyscapes. You will learn techniques to enable you to add drama and depth to your skyscape painting, plus some simple but effective tricks to create the illusion of distance.
  • Explore New Tools
    Learn to achieve a variety of marks and textures using brushes palette knives, and other creative tools.
  • Be Inspired by Stunning Skyscapes
    Photos and some of David’s own skyscape paintings will be provided for inspiration!

£95 (bring your own materials) Oils or Acrylics + 14x18 canvas). A full guide of colours and equipment will be sent before the event )
