This guide outlines the steps we’ve taken to ensure our space is as accessible and comfortable as possible for all visitors.

Our store features wide, double-door access, providing plenty of space for easy entry. |
Accessibility ramp
|
There is a small step at the entrance to our store (approximately 5cm high). A ramp is available, and a member of staff will be happy to assist by putting this in place when you arrive. Alternatively, please feel free to call us in advance if you would like us to have the ramp ready for your arrival. |
Parking
|
The centre offers ample free parking, including three large disabled parking bays located at the main entrance. If these bays are unavailable, there is also a spacious open parking area. Access from the car park to Artifex is all on one level, with no steps. Please note that there are some small raised cobblestones throughout the centre. If you require any assistance upon arrival, our team will be more than happy to help. |
Accessible toilets

Accessible toilets are available within the centre, approximately 60 yards from Artifex. The route from Artifex is on one level, with a small ramp along the way. An alternative step-free route is also available for those who prefer not to use the ramp. A member of staff is always on hand to help navigate and guide you if needed. |
Navigation inside Artifex
|
Our shop layout has been designed to provide easy navigation throughout the ground floor. All aisles are at least 90cm wide at their narrowest point and are arranged in a continuous loop, avoiding tight turns or dead ends. We have carefully considered accessibility to ensure all customers can browse comfortably. All display cabinets feature front-facing glass, making it easier to view items from different positions. Please note that the second floor is accessible by stairs only. However, our team is always happy to assist. Staff can bring any items from upstairs to the ground floor on request. A tablet is also available in-store, allowing you to browse our full collection online, if you see anything you like we can bring items from the first floor to the ground floor for viewing. |

Our team is always available to assist with any items you wish to purchase—whether that’s carrying purchases to your vehicle, repositioning pieces for easier viewing, or arranging delivery. We’re always happy to help with any additional requests to make your visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. |
