Born in Stoke-on-Trent 1959.
Son of artist and art lecturer Joseph Ferenczy of displaced Hungarian family.
Known mostly for drawings and paintings with figures, particularly as a part of the UK Northern art scene.
Trained as engineer and then took a degree in Philosophy, University of York.
Worked as a in-house writer and visualiser for London publisher.
MA in Fine Art, North Staffs Uni.
Works in acrylics and oils on canvas, watercolour on paper and drawing in a variety of media, often using self-developed techniques combining traditional drawing in pencil, biro or gel pen with monoprinted-on digital images. Sometimes incorporates text – as in the comic book idiom of speech and thought bubbles.
